Matt Burke

Matt embarked on a lifestyle change 5 years ago when he joined a local training studio and lost a whopping 20kg. From this amazingly positive experience, he swore he would never go back to his old ways and from that point, made a conscious decision to try to help others reach their health and fitness goals.

He sought out private coaching in the sport of powerlifting from a well renowned coach and nutritional expert to further enhance his body composition and understanding of nutrition. This led to a further reduction in weight and gave him the skills and strength to compete in the Australian Power Lifting Federation’s under 93kg competitions.

Whilst power lifting has been hugely satisfying, Rugby League is his number 1 passion. Whilst watching his young boys continually struggle against bigger and stronger teams, he decided that he would combine the two and try to help others reach their sporting goals.

He signed up to do his Certificate 3 and 4 in Fitness and Level 1 Strength and Conditioning course in order to achieve this. As a result, EVOLUTION was born.
